I wanted to put a picture hear to start off,but I googled 'karma' and what came out was nothing savoury.

I'm at the uni library waiting for some of the study peeps to come (these people, always at least 30 minutes late-so now i synchronize my time that way) and the internet at home's going through some kind of radical transformation process so here I am paying bills online and reading up some of my favourite blogs.
Well, this morning at the gym my Ipod suffered a hard fall (thankfully cushioned by the ever reliable rubber case).I was on the treadmill, getting carried away with the Basement Jaxx track blasting in my ears and I didn't notice as the Ipod slowly slipped off the counter, fell onto the moving treadmill belt and flew halfway across the gym.Few seconds later, this guy from the other side of gym picked it up and handed it to me-I didn't stop running after it fell, not really knowing what to do with all the sweating and panting sort of putting my brain on hold. And how this relates to Karma-yesterday I did ONE nice thing. It might have been more, but the only reason I remember this was because after I kindly ushered a few girls into the lift and entered it,I was a bit pissed that they couldn't practice the easy, common decency to fucking thank strangers who do those kind of tiny deeds for you.It seriously pisses me off-I mean, you go the extra mile to be kind and nice to people you don't know, and in return they feign total ignorance and oblivion. What am I,your fucking maid?
Anyhu,do the math and it equals karma lah.See,the universe works in ways that you'd only notice if you looked closer-what goes around,ALWAYS comes around. So even if strangers choose to glare and scoff when you've been nice to them-even if it's that racist receptionist who looks away everytime you greet her/him,or the local elderly bitch with the trolley who mutters under her breath what sounds like cursing in Italian when you give her way-be nice, cos' the universe will repay you in ways that God has planned, and it's simply no use to expect retaliation from strangers.People are funny,we're all funny-because we can't fully comprehend each other's intentions, even with words meanings are distorted and sent across wrongly-so (having watch a tiny clip about an upcoming Lennon documentary on tv),give peace a chance even if people whack you for doing so.
All the best for exams.

g/luck with the exams.
do good but expect nothing in return :D!
good advice mae, unfortunately i think to reach that mindset and properly believe it one needs a SOLID moral and all that-which,i think i haven't achieved but am slowly getting to.
about the rubber case-i've had it for a long time, and the one day i chose to take it off was when it fell in the gym last year & i had to replace it.that rubber case is my ipod's guardian angel.
eh after i read ur blog, my ipod also jatuh on the ground when i was on my way out for a jog.
UR IPOD IS A BAD INFLUENCE!!!
