Bruno

Finally got around to watching Bruno,it had its moments but was disappointing sad to say.I liked the bit with Paula Abdul (which she already mentioned during her Letterman appearance) and the swingers party, but it was patchy at best and even though the lighthearted love story about Bruno and his assistant Lutz take centre stage,it still felt like a run of random skits with no high, lows or glue tying it all together.I'd say it was 1/10th as funny as Borat (which I really enjoyed)-it comes down a succession of low-brow jokes that rely only on shock and controversy. Not that I have a problem with any of that, just that it wasn't all that funny.
