the sage awards 2011 : best dressed men

from top left,clockwise:

chris colfer in dior
andrew garfield in burberry
jon hamm in calvin klein
josh duhamel in calvin klein
jesse eisenberg in dolce & gabbana
patrick stewart in calvin klein

i normally don't bother with the men on red carpet awards, they assume the black tie theme to be constricting and the ones who do venture out to play always look like fools, you just don't wear plaids,or white shoes,or black on black, stray even slightly and you'll look like some variation of a pimp, gay playhouse host, and just plain cheap,so the trick is to nail down the details, get the right color, the tie knot and hemline need to be just nice, and they always underestimate the hair,an effortless but neatly styled do is preferable to lazy,after-romp hair.anyway, here were my favorites, ignoring the creased pants and minor flaws. i think andrew garfield has a natural suaveness, very handsome geeky quality to him,and jesse eisenberg, when fortunate enough to not be caught from an angle that accentuates his sharp chin,is actually, without even him knowing, extremely handsome.the others have their clothes fit really well, and i'd imagine even the poorest dressed companion would improve their look next to these men
