Above are my top songs for 2006 with The Decemberists topping the list,but in truth most of the best songs i've listened to and movies i've watched this year aren't from 2006-Being John Malkovich and Pulp Fiction,for example.There weren't too many great films this year,but Little Miss Sunshine and 2:37 definitely go into my list of alltime faves.

Okay so Lost lost heaps of fans and only showed 6 eps this year,but those six were incredibly intense,brought about new revelations and i'd prefer this to a whole sleezy season of any other show.I watched more mainstream films this year,but the handful of indies i did watch (e.g:Brick,Shortbus,Swimming Pool) weren't anything to shout about.
