I'm so friggin happy out of my mind I can't even think straight.
I decided long time ago to filter what I write here-because some people think whatever they read can be some sort of powerful indication of who the writer is.What fucking bullshit that is.So because those kind of idiots can be mighty presumptuous and dumb,I don't write any personal stuff up here and usually it's the kind of thoughts meant for free flow and can't possibly be spoken in words.Because it'd be overflowing.
Man that was bitter, but I just had to get it out.
Anyways,I rented Freaks & Geeks out-I had read about how good it was in a few blogs and other places, and decided to check if any of the hype rang any truth. It was cancelled after only one season, produced by Judd Apatow (the genius behind 40 Year-Old Virgin, and the upcoming Knocked Up) and basically deals with high school life and all that teenage/adolescence stuff.Turned out pretty interesting to watch, mostly because the characters weren't forcibly different, average and easy to connect with-the jokes weren't any of those HEY LOOK THIS IS HILARIOUS,LAUGH!LAUGH!LAUGH! kind of jokes.Nice.
Finally got around to watch Bowling For Columbine.Worth the Oscar?I don't think so.It's not only heavily biased, but at times it resorts to cheap exploitation in hope for an emotional response.Informative but only to a point before it delves into the deep left-wing stuff, after that it's like a radical anti-government campaign with statistics and people being used as pawns.
I'll end with a bit of Freaks & Geeks:
Half-drunk Fratboy: Hey,want a beer?
Conservative Girl: No,I prefer to get high on life.
And somewhere later on during the alcohol-fuelled party, the girl goes to the piano and sings some I love Jesus tune.Oh god I love this series.
