Watched Fantastic Four Rise of Whatever yesterday, and I can barely remember what it was about. It wasn't bad,or good-just really dull.Few details I can recall.Jessica Alba had pornstar hair.Mr Fantastic (hah!) was sleepwalking through his lines and acting like an uninteresting douche as usual. The jokes felt like they were written in the 1990's.The plot and accompanying subplots were all embarrassingly thin. But having paid only $6,sitting through such movie didn't feel painful at all.As I read somewhere (AICN?),bad movies could at least be respected for setting an aim to fulfill-whereas movies like Fantastic Four 2 come without ambition and generally end up as a wholly forgettable experience.
The internet at home's much better, been downloading heaps of albums and after listening to few-I would recommend the following.

The first thing that hit me was that none of the tracks I expected to be there were there-no Won't Get Fooled Again or Behind Blue Eyes. Not even Teenage Wasteland. And I'm too lazy to find an explanation for this.Anyways, with 2 cds and more than 20 tracks performed live-I was practically satiated.
Think:Joining an anti-war rally in the 80's that was mostly participated by mellow pregnant British women who secretly fantasized having wild jungle sex with their gardeners and killing their husbands.
Key Tracks:We're Not Gonna Take It,Young Man Blues

I've never been a Wilco fan-he might be big in the US or wherever, but where I live he's practically a noone.Which is a shame, because this album is absolutely amazing.I can't say enough about it,so give it a listen if you have the time.
Think:Having wings and flying, but aware that your toes are still touching the ground.Torn, but complete.
Key Tracks:I Am Trying To Break Your Heart,War On War,Radio Cure

I'm not the biggest Nirvana fan-I mean, their music's no doubt good, but I tend to prefer more contemporary stuff. This album however, just lives and breathes and is just freaking immortal.
Think:Nothing.Total Amnesia. You're somewhere else, not human.A giraffe or tigress or spirit maybe.
Key Tracks:Heart-Shaped Box,Rape Me,Dumb
Feist-The Reminder
Really light stuff-but more of the heavier light stuff (am I still making sense?) like Jeff Buckley or Sarah McLachlan or Joss Stone. Not like Norah Jones, which is something I'd play as background music to a party or something.A sleeping party.Nah,she's not that bad.Feist' voice finally comes through in the slower tunes-at times it's uplifting, most of the time it's heartbreaking.
Think:Walking out after a long storm, only to see the faint beginnings of a rainbow emerge out of the clearing sky.
Key Tracks:So Sorry,The Water
That's all from me for now.
Be free,be free.

the first time i heard sealion,i was a bit surprised.none of the other songs on the album sound like it-the native chantings, then tetiba modern guitar.takes some getting used to,but once i'm hooked on it now.
eh you should try her older songs-slower & jazzier, like piste 1 & piste 4 (not sure ni title btol ker, sounds made up).
