Yesterday night was the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah concert (I don't think calling it a concert would be appropriate because there were merely 300-400 in attendance-but I can't find any other word) @ Hi-Fi Bar.Syaza and I left early and arrived 15 minutes before the advertised starting time,at 7.15 pm.Below were the sms's sent to determine this.
Al: Syaza,the thing starts at 7.30 p.m.You think it'd be too early to leave at 6.15?
Syz: Err,yea.How bout 6.45?Or is that too late?
Al: Hahaha,might be.6.35 at CS reception okay?
Syz: Yep,see ya.
And so we arrived a bit too early.Noone else was there yet,aside from some weird looking girl who was crouching near the entrance.We weren't allowed to go in yet,cos apparently security duds hadn't arrived or something like that-so we waited outside.And guess who we saw come out for a ciggie?

Being the proud and shameless Asians (and die-hard fans) we were,we went up to him asking for a pic and he was kind enough to oblige.See Syaza-come late dapat apa?Gambar with security people?Wahahaha.Syaza you owe me a roti canai.A HUGE one,not some ciplak Ali Maju pancake kay?The real thing tau.With colourful candles and icing that says 'Early Birds get The Juiciest Worms'.Wahaha kidding.

They played for a bit more than an hour,a lot of songs from their first album (which was self-released in 05).They're genormous (a word I learned during lunch today) in the states,and elsewhere their fan base is slowly,but steadily growing.Anyone who still hasn't heard of them,I highly encourage downloading their songs.
Because it's good music,and it'd be a pity for you to miss out on it.
